Imprint in the ground

Several pesons have contacted The Norwegian Crop Circle Group and asked about the socalled "UFO-ring"
at Espevær (small island community south of Bergen, Norway).

On a full moon 1975 October night, several observations were made of a shining object flying in the skies
towards Espevær. Sometime thereafter, a large circular depression was discovered at Åkerve on the western
part of Espevær proper. The circumference of the circle is 63 meters, and the depression is approximately 7 cm
deep and 40 cm wide. Scientist from the University of Bergen inspected the scene, but no one has been able to
explain its origin. The ring is acclaimed the world's largest UFO imprint by some UFO-ologists, according to the
local tourist board. Most remarcably is that the depression is just as mucht distinct after all these years.
